Geumgang park is located at the southern end of mt. Geumjeong, the well-known mountain in Busan,
and so many citizens visit this place for relaxation.
Mt. Geumjeong is known as a beautiful mountain
– as beautiful as mt. Geumgang, like a small mt.Geumgang. That is why the name of the park is also Geumgang park. It was known as Geumjeong-won since 1940, but changed its name to Geumgang park starting from 1965. <금강공원>은 부산의 명산인 금정산 남쪽 끝에 있어 많은 시민들이 찾는 공원 입니다. 금정산은 산세의 수려함이 마치 작은 금강산과 같다 하여 공원 이름도 금강공원이 되었습니다. 1940년부터 금강원이라 불리다가 1965년에 금강공원으로 지정되었습니다.
