It is said the name 팔도 originated when a man called 김팔도 founded the market and established the current 수영 팔도 market.

수영팔도 market has amenities for customers. The first floor is made as bathroom, and the second floor is made as amenities, merchant offices, training centers, and breast feeding rooms.
