There is a complex culture space ‘Arche’ where arts and humanity research center, seminar rooms, coffee shop and stores are all in one place which started off as a humanities book café at first. In Arche, you can enjoy various drinks including hand drip coffee and buy hand crafted goods. 김수우, the owner of the shop runs the book club and works hard to activate the local humanities in Busan.

: Come out from exit 7, 중앙동 subway station line no. 1 -> walk straight for about 100m -> turn right at the 한국 Standard Chartered Bank.

A special festival is being held in 중앙동 right now.

It’s a 왔다갔다 Art Festival where you come and go Fukuoka and Busan.

About 60 aritsts from Korea, Japan, and Australia are participating in the festival, and young artists from Kyushu reside in Busan to exhibit their art works with Busan citizens.

This year, they’re holding various events like exhibition, performances, and other exchange programs under the theme called ‘NET-CO’.

 

중앙동에 특별한 축제가 개최되고 있어요! 바로 후쿠오카와 부산을 왔다갔다 한다는 뜻의 ‘왔다갔다 아트 페스티벌’ 입니다. 한국, 일본, 호주의 약 60여 명 예술가들이 참여하고, 큐슈의 젊은 작가들이 부산에 머물면서 시민과 함께한 작품이 전시됩니다. 2012년도에는 ‘NET-CO’ 라는 주제를 중심으로 전시, 공연, 각종 교류회 등 다양한 행사를 합니다.
